NOT SURE WHERE TO START?

I was absolutely in shock when I found out what was allowed in the products I was buying for my family every week. And even more disgusted when I learned what the chemicals were doing to our bodies. I decided to do something about it. I took back control. And you can too!

LET’S TALK ABOUT SHIPPING

While we live in the glorious days of Amazon Prime, Young Living is not Amazon Prime. In order to have packages that get to us in that beautiful lightening fast speed, we’d have to choose something to give up. Free oils? The opportunity to get ER points, a percentage of your commission? ‘Cause Amazon doesn’t give us any of that! So just know that it’s not a 2 day turnaround to your door, ok? :)

SOME TIPS FROM YL’S CORPORATE OFFICE:

  • Do not choose USPS. Yeah. Just don’t do this.

  • Know that your ER order processes at midnight, the end of the date selected. So if your ER day is the 7th, you can expect to see it process on the 8th.

  • When pushing an order through to manually process same day, make sure the order processes before noon if you want it to truly process that day. It will sit until the next day if it’s after Noon (MST)

  • Early in the week is a guarantee it will be shipped out before the weekend. Monday or Tuesday is our best bet because an order takes 3 business days to process. Ordering on Thursday or Friday usually means it won’t ship until the following week.

  • If our order is scheduled for anything after the 20th, we are to expect slower shipping because it’s the busiest time of the month. They suggest order processing no later than the 20th if getting your order in a timely manner is imperative. Also, if our orders are scheduled for anything after the 20th, we run the risk of things going awry for business builders.

What can go awry, you ask?

  • Someone can return something. We lose PV.

  • Someone goes out of stock. We lose PV.

  • Payment declines for whatever reason.

If this kind of stuff happens in the second half of the month, then watch to ensure you actually have the PV needed so you can maintain rank or get commission. Leaders are suggested to have earlier ERs for commission purposes.

  • Shipping will take longer over a holiday weekend.

  • Expect 2-3 BUSINESS days for an order to process.

  • YL is closed for major holidays.

The actual travel time to your destination is calculated by the carrier, not YL. Remember that once something leaves Young Living’s warehouse, it is the shipping carrier that is responsible. Have a package bouncing all around? Contact the carrier (for example FedEx) to resolve the problem.

  • Saturday delivery is not available in all areas. And packages don’t ship on weekends. If you see a shipment notification late Friday, it is likely just a shipping label, no movement will take place until Monday.

  • If you want Amazon Prime-like speed, choose overnight or 2-day FedEx shipping.

  • DO NOT CHOOSE SMART POST. It is not smart.  And let’s be real, if you are overseas, smartpost means “by boat, so you obviously don’t need these products this month…” 

  • And if you choose the cheapest shipping option, more chances it will go smartpost.

  • I personally always go with the YL choice, ground shipping with 3-5 business days and have always had satisfied shipping results.
